IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO REASSURE OUR GUESTS

Here at West Rock we send our love and thoughts to you and your families during this worldwide pandemic, and we want to offer our reassurance that we are guest ready and are following all the hospitality guidelines to make your stay safe.

We have been following an enhanced cleaning regime and taking extra care to clean and disinfect our spaces and frequently touched surfaces thoroughly, and following all the necessary precautions between guests and post guests.

To minimise person to person contact our small team are all aware of social distancing practices to protect everyone concerned.

Our individual villas here at West Rock consist of a very small collection of four x1 bedroom & two x2 bedroom villas on a very private spot, away from built-up busy areas, main thoroughfare noisy traffic and sun-seeking crowds.

Each villa is angled and positioned with a good distance apart, each having own privacy and private entrance, reducing contact with other guests.

We have a premium system 'salt water' swimming pool which is cleaned and checked regularly.

Our shared pool area is spacious enough to respect social distancing or alternatively you can just relax on your own private terrace. Our one bedroom villas offer a small private covered terrace with seating for two and our two bedroom villas have larger terraces leading from the lounge and also the master bedroom.

From the villas and the pool you can admire the surrounding countryside and the captivating view of the ocean beyond. Surrounded by nature, they offer privacy and private outdoor covered terraces, for a holiday of relaxation, tranquility, stunning sunsets and starry night skies.

There is a supermarket with a pharmacy in nearby Holetown, along with a 24 hour medical centre, just a 5 minute drive away. Alleyne's Bay Beach is just a 10/15 minute walk.

You can cook in the villas in the fully equipped new and modern kitchens and prepare healthy meals in your own space.

To help our guests maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene during their stay our villas are well stocked with the essential amenities i.e. hand soap, kitchen roll, tissues & toilet paper.

We also leave some cleaning supplies in the villas for our guests to keep areas clean during their stay.

Refuse bins are supplied in all kitchen and bathroom areas and fitted with liners. Towels and bed linens are changed regularly and cleaned at recommended high temperatures.

We also recommend removing shoes when entering the villas and leaving them at the entrance (if possible outside on the covered terrace).

Please understand that all the changes, restrictions and protocols have caused many challenges for the people of Barbados and indeed the world.

The Barbados Government have handled the situation impressively, and safety measures and restrictions are in place to keep everyone safe. We fully support the necessary precautions taken by the Government of Barbados to guarantee your safety.

TEMPORARY COVID-19 MODIFIED CANCELLATION POLICY

We appreciate you are taking a risk in booking your travel during the present circumstances, we never imagined that things would be as uncertain as they still are this year, so we are offering you a COVID-19 modified cancellation policy for new bookings in 2021 /2022.

PLEASE NOTE: This policy is temporary and may/may not be extended for reservations further into 2021/2022.

A 15% deposit is required to secure a reservation.

You will then pay the remaining balance 15 days before your arrival date, which would then not be refundable.

However, if you are forced to cancel due to proven reasons listed below, more than 15 days prior to your arrival date a full refund of your deposit will be given.

If you are forced to cancel due to proven reasons listed below, on or within the 15 days prior to your arrival date, you can chose a postponement option and we can reschedule your reservation for a stay in the next 12 months.
PLEASE NOTE: this will be subject to availability and must be for the same nights duration. If there is a price difference for any new dates i.e fluctuation in seasonal rates, extra charges may apply. If you cannot travel due to any health issues our usual Terms & Conditions would apply.

The COVID-19 Modified Cancellation Policy is applicable in the event that:-

1) The Barbados government refuses passengers' entry based on their origin (whether by residence, recent travel to a
particular destination, or based on flight origin).
2) A Foreign government issues a specific travel ban to/from Barbados that prevents you from travelling.
3) A Level 3 CDC Warning or Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) Advisory against Barbados must exist.

We strongly advise and recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance against cancellation, covering sickness and unavoidable reasons for cancellation prior to your stay. If you choose not to then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.
